Privacy policy
In short: Receipt Calc doesn't collect, store or share any of your personal data. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone.
Who we are
Receipt Calc is made by Axis Locus Pty Ltd, Australia ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the Receipt Calc app for iPhone handles your information.
What we collect
Nothing. Receipt Calc has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The app doesn't connect to our servers or any third-party service to send your data.
Your tapes
The tapes you create, including their amounts, names and titles, are saved only on your iPhone, in the app's own folder. If you use iCloud Backup or back up your iPhone to a computer, your tapes are included in that backup under your own Apple account. We can't see them.
Deleting a tape in the app, or deleting the app, removes the tapes from your iPhone.
Automatic tape names
On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, Receipt Calc can suggest a name for an untitled tape. This uses Apple's on-device model: the tape's contents are processed on your iPhone and are not sent to us. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple Intelligence handles data.
Sharing
When you choose to share a receipt picture, for example through Messages, WhatsApp or the share sheet, it goes only to the app and people you pick. Those services handle it under their own privacy policies. Receipt Calc doesn't keep a copy anywhere else.
Children
Receipt Calc is suitable for all ages and doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If the app ever starts collecting data, we'll say so here and in the App Store before it does.
